Our Rose Story

 At the end of the 18th century, France's Joséphine de Beauharnais Queen, the love of Napoleon's life. She purchased the Chateau de Malmaison and had it landscaped in an “English” style. She hired landscapers and horticulturalists expert from the United Kingdom. To expresse her love to the Rose, Flower Queen of romance and elegance, Joséphine built a rose garden soon after purchase.
